Replacing spark plugs on Largus
If your car has already had a pretty decent mileage, then it's time to think about replacing the spark plugs. Although this may be required even with low mileage, if there are problems with the operation of the engine, it begins to triple, work intermittently and is very unstable.
So, the mileage of my Lada Largus is only 6700 km, but for some reason I always change the factory candles for new ones, I trust myself more than Avtovaz engineers. I bought all the vaunted, and even tested on personal experience of previous cars, NGK candles.
Before replacing, first make sure that there is no dirt or dust around the candles, if there is any, then it is imperative that everything is thoroughly cleaned so that everything is perfectly clean, in order to avoid debris getting into the cylinder. You can use a carburetor rinsing agent or the like, if there are none, then at least scrape off with improvised means.
After everything has been thoroughly washed, you can proceed to the very procedure for replacing the spark plugs on our Largus. We take a candle wrench, preferably with an elastic band inside for fixing and turn out one from each cylinder. And best of all, after turning out the first one, immediately put a new one in order to avoid incorrect connection of the wires. If the high-voltage wires are confused in places, then the motor will start to triple and work like a tractor, almost in the literal sense of the word.
So, they unscrewed one candle, immediately screwed back a new one, put the wire back on and everything is ready, carry out the same procedure with the other 3 cylinders, and tighten it up, preferably harder, otherwise it may happen that over time the candle will unscrew and fly out, tear thread in the head and then you have to spend a certain amount of money to repair all this. Naturally, you should not do it with all your might, but half of it certainly needs to be applied so that everything is tightened properly and does not weaken.
This process is short-lived, and at home it will take you no more than 15 minutes of time, and absolutely free, not counting new candles, of course.
