Where is the oven fan located?

At the beginning of the article, we described about all the symptoms that will occur if the motor fails, but we have to repeat, not all people read everything that is written on the page, in general, closer to the point, the fan can completely fail (This happens from time to time, and also if a lot of voltage was applied, then it can simply burn out, there are such cases due to the negligence of the people themselves, some put coins instead of fuses, the wiring began to melt, but because there is no fuse, the circuit does not open in any way, and the wiring immediately turns on), maybe partially (Any speed does not work, but this is not a stove, this is a SAUO unit, most likely it is easy to check, just change it to a known good one, if everything starts working as before, then the unit needs to be replaced), and it may even start making unpleasant sounds (this is also a stove ), such as squeaks, etc., all these malfunctions appear over time, and may appear immediately after purchase, if the oven is faulty or has already been purchased in this used condition.

By the way, in addition to the motor itself, many more things can fail, most often this is the SAUO unit, less often the stove itself, well, don’t forget about the fuse, otherwise you will disassemble the entire stove, replace the engine and other heating parts, but nothing will change, then look inside fuse box and you will see a blown fuse in the stove, you will be very upset, it's just money thrown away, so always in the event of a breakdown, First open the mounting block and see if all the fuses are intact, as a rule, the fuse goes to the F18 stove!

How to replace a stove fan on a VAZ 2110-VAZ 2112?

This instruction for replacing the stove engine is suitable for many cars of the 10th family, but not for all, because dozens of them have been produced all the time in very different trim levels and designs, some VAZ 2110 even had an Opel engine from the factory, such a VAZ car is marked 21106, so it won’t be possible to write about everything (because it will turn out to be a very long article), we will take only the tenth most common family and on it, as an example, we will show the engine replacement! Stove according to the description and pictures!

1. First of all, you will need to get to the engine, it is hidden under the lining, which is located under the windshield, and inside this lining the engine is still placed in the body, so you will have to remove a lot of decorative elements, and in more detail how to do this, it is described in the article under the heading: "Replacing the cabin filter on the VAZ 2110" and, by the way, the trim under the windshield cannot be removed without removing the wiper blades, and when you lift it up, note that there will be a tee (where it is located in the big photo) , disconnect the hose from it, which is connected from below (see small photo) and the fitting can then be removed from the machine.

 

2. We go further, as soon as all the elements that prevent access to the casing in which the engine is located are removed, we find the wires coming from the engine, and to be more precise, then one “Plus” wire and one “Less” and so minus (indicated by green arrow) is fixed on the nut (indicated by a blue arrow), unscrewed, but the plus (indicated by a yellow arrow) is connected to another cable by means of a cable block and a connector (see small photo), disconnect them from each other.

3. Then, with a flat screwdriver, we pull out four latches (indicated by arrows) connecting the two casings, in one of which the stove motor is fixed, all the latches that break when they are removed must be replaced with new ones, when reassembling it is recommended to install all the latches up to one in place, so that the boxes do not move relative to each other.

 

4. And finally, unscrew all the screws that connect the shrouds, there are only about 8 or 10 of these screws left (we may be wrong), by unscrewing them all, the shrouds can be separated (see small photo), but just remember where the screws were screwed, because they have different lengths and long ones cannot wrap up where short ones should be and vice versa.

The stove motor can be disassembled assembled with a casing, or it can be disassembled immediately separately, it’s up to you, but having taken it all apart, it will be much easier to disconnect the motor (as it will be more convenient), and the motor is disassembled as follows, you just need to pull out two wires (negative and positive) from the hole into which they are threaded on the body and voila!

 

5. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly, after installing the furnace, you will need to use the help of an assistant and find out whether you installed the furnace correctly in a regular place or with deformation (if it is deformed, then you will need to remove it immediately), in general, closer to topic, ask an assistant, or even get into the car yourself and turn on the stove while you are assembling, that is, tighten the mounting screws (you may not even tighten everything) and install the clamps and, of course, put a minus to the case and connect the plus to the connector, then turn it on and if everything works fine in all modes, then turn off and tighten the last screws, install the gaskets under the windshield and, of course, install the brushes, the replacement is over, if a crack is heard after turning on, then this only says one thing, namely.
