Replacing the rear lights on the VAZ 2113 and 2114
Content
The design of the rear lights, as well as their attachment to the VAZ 2113 and 2114, is practically no different from the old versions of the Lada Samara, such as 2108-21099. In order to replace the taillights, we need a minimum amount of tools, namely:
- 8 mm head - preferably deep
- Extension
- Ratchet handle or crank
How to remove taillights on a VAZ 2114, 2113, 21099, 2109, 2108
Before proceeding with the replacement, it is necessary to disconnect the minus terminal from the battery. If you are confident in your wiring, then you can not disconnect the terminal, but making sure that the lights are not powered is strictly necessary.
Then we open the trunk lid and set aside the so-called windows in the trunk lining, which are fixed with Velcro. It is through these viewing windows that the lantern fastening nuts are visible:
Using a ratchet, unscrew the two lantern mounting nuts on one side, as shown in the photo below.
Now we disconnect the power plug from the board by pressing the latch.
Now there are two more nuts on the other side, which are also available after opening a special “window” in the carpet.
After that, from the outside, we gently take it by the body of the lantern and try to take it back, thereby removing it from the seat.
The second lamp on VAZ 2114 and 2113 changes in the same way. Don't forget to plug in the power plugs after installing new lights.
How much are the taillights on the VAZ 2113, 2114 and 2109
