Frozen car lock - how to prevent?

To ensure that a frozen lock on a car never becomes a problem, it is best to keep the car in a garage, preferably a positive temperature garage. Then you will not have problems with frost on the windows or with the battery, and the car will last longer. However, not everyone can afford it. A slightly less effective method, but definitely worth trying, is to secure the vehicle, for example, with a blanket covering not only the windows, but also the doors. Then the temperature of the car will rise slightly and the car may not freeze, especially on not very cold nights.

Frozen lock in the car - beware of washing

It is also important to wash your car thoroughly. You can do this even in winter, for example, when going on a long journey. However, it is worth choosing warmer days when there are no frosts. It is best to use a touchless car wash, where the car will then be thoroughly dried. After all, you never know if it will be frosty at night, namely, because of the frost, the water can freeze in the cracks, and you will not be able to open your vehicle. A frozen lock in the car can also appear if you drove into a puddle that sprayed the vehicle heavily, so try to be careful on the road!
