Headlights fog up on Vesta!

And the problem is as follows: after overnight parking, especially when the temperature drops, fogging of the headlights appears.

Of course, many owners of Kalina or Priora have long been accustomed to this phenomenon, especially for the left block headlight, but Vesta is a completely different level! Are old sores still in this new car? Apparently, there will be flaws here, as with many previous VAZ modules. But it is worth knocking off these shortcomings on the first production samples, since even quite expensive foreign cars have problems and more serious ones.

According to the owners of Vesta, the official dealer reacts to such problems quite normally and, if the owner wishes, this defect is eliminated without problems by completely replacing the headlamp. Of course, it is unpleasant to realize that something has already been changed on your new car under warranty, but you must admit that a replacement is better than driving with permanently fogged headlights.

Reasons for fogging headlights on Vesta

The main reason is the lack of headlight tightness. Perhaps this is due to broken sealant or glue at the joints. Also, many headlights have special vents that can get clogged. This, in turn, can lead to this problem.

If you look at the previous VAZ models, then there were special rubber plugs from the back of the headlight, which cracked over time and through them air entered the inside, which led to fogging. Unfortunately, it is unfortunately difficult to say what design on Vesta, since there were no official manuals for repair and maintenance at the time of this writing!
