Emission costs are rising, energy prices are rising. Our V2G reader will also get a raise. More ZAROBI

Information about the rise in energy prices comes from all over the world. China, which has pledged to cut carbon emissions, is shutting down entire regions that use coal-fired power plants. In Poland, it can also be several tens of percent more expensive. Our reader, Mr. Tomasz, who has a V2G setup, also received information about the magnification. He will earn even more.

V2G in the UK is saving the energy sector. In Poland she will be punished

In a recent interview, Ireneusz Ziska stated that there will be no transition period: owners of photovoltaic installations who have just launched them will be billed as badly as possible.... This means: they will pay for the energy taken from the grid at the full rate (energy plus distribution), but the surplus delivered to the grid will be paid at the current price in the wholesale market.

The new method should take effect suddenly, maybe at the beginning of 2022, or maybe during it.

Our reader, Mr. Tomasz, lives in a normal country, because in Great Britain. He took part in a project to test the V2G charger, thanks to which he can return the energy stored in the battery of his car to the grid. His Nissan Leaf acts as an energy storage device for the wheels. In addition, it also takes into account the energy generated by its photovoltaic installation. We just bragged about it received information about the promotion.

From October 1 until the end of the year, he will receive an additional 5 pence (equivalent to 27 grosz) for every 1 kWh of energy exported to the grid. This is how it works:

  • 31 pence / kWh (1,68 zł / kWh) for the energy produced by the photovoltaic installation,
  • 35p / kWh (PLN 1,89 / kWh) for energy from a car battery thanks to the V2G charger.

The company clearly wants to encourage him to drive as economically as possible and use the car's battery to smooth out peaks in power consumption. Ovo Energy is not involved in charity work, so it can be assumed that the company makes even more money from these additional resources.

This is not the end. The British government will compensate him for his investment in photovoltaic systems.... That is why he launched an additional FIT tariff (called Feed in Tariff), according to which Mr. Tomas receives additional money. Between June 11 and September 7, it was 247 pounds 82 pence, or the equivalent of 1 zł for three months, an average of 340 zł per month:
