Zero FXE: California's new electric motorcycle in detail
Cousin of FX and FXS, the new Zero FXE enriches Californian Zero Motorcycles' electric motorcycle lineup.
Announced a few days ago in the first teaser, Californian Zero Motorcycles' new electric motorcycle is revealed. More elegant than its two older sisters, the FX and FXS, the new FXE features a smoother aesthetic and a more urban look.
Up to 160 km of autonomy
Technically, FXE inherits the characteristics of Zero FXS. It has a ZF75-5 engine available in two versions. Limited to 15 horses, the first equates to the equivalent of 125 cc. More powerful, the second one rises by 21 horses and will require a motorcycle license. In both cases, the maximum torque reaches 106 Nm and the maximum speed is 132 km / h.
Thanks to lithium technology, the battery powering the new FXE has an energy capacity of 7,2 kWh. It is enough to allow 160 km of autonomous operation in the urban cycle and 92 km in mixed mode. The bike comes standard with a 650W built-in charger, allowing you to fully charge it in 9:30. Those in a hurry can opt for the optional fast charger, which can reduce charging time to around 4 hours.
