Winter vehicle operationHere in our area the first snow has already fallen and I decided to test my Largus in winter conditions, on snow and ice. In the fall, I already tested the car both on the highway and on the dirt road, while there were only positive opinions. Now you can tell and share your impressions of the operation in the conditions of the Russian winter.
First, I would like to say a little about starting the Largus engine in frost. The temperature, of course, is not too low until it drops below 10 degrees, but in this range the car starts without any problems. Of course, I squeeze the clutch during start-up, after all, the run-in has not yet been fully completed. The revs do not float, there are no vibrations in the cabin. And the motor itself warms up quite quickly, three minutes - and you can already move.
Now, with regard to handling on snow and ice. Here, too, everything is on top, by the way - before that I drove the Priore, and I can say with confidence that it is clearly inferior to my station wagon. Of course, I chose not cheap tires, I took Gislaved Nord Frost 5. In the snow, even in deep snow, the car is confident, there is no slippage, I have already checked the cross-country ability, rowing like a tank. And on the ice, too, everything is clear, at high speed it is naturally impossible to enter the turns without skidding, but usually I drive slowly, so for me it's just super control. By the way, braking on ice was a pleasant surprise, most likely the weight of the car and excellent winter tires also affect.
It's just beauty in the cabin, the stove heats up perfectly, at least at minus 10 - it's just unbearable heat inside. The operation of the heater, even at second speed, is weakly audible, the glass blows very quickly. In short, I am one hundred percent satisfied with the car, the main thing is that this feeling remains in the future. So far, no problems have arisen, pour gasoline and go.
