Cooperation with international companies has played an important role in this, both in building up the national defense potential and in providing high-quality products to the Polish armed forces. Design accuracy
The ability to look to the future has helped Nammo become a world leader in defense solutions. Thanks to the research and development potential and highly qualified engineering staff, the company has been able to develop advanced technologies, which in turn has made it possible to provide customers with top-class products. However, all this was not achieved on its own. Over the past decade, Nammo has established partnerships with several Polish companies, transferring equipment and know-how, creating partnerships that satisfy both cooperating parties.
Nammo has established a long-term relationship of trust in Poland and works closely with Polish defense companies to provide the required technologies and services. Through joint ventures, it is possible to provide optimal solutions to the Polish armed forces while also meeting the needs of other NATO partners.
The cooperation between Nammo and MESKO SA from Skarzysko-Kamienna testifies to the strength of relations with the Polish industry. Nammo and MESKO have collaborated for many years, incl. as part of the medium caliber ammunition program, which resulted in the development of the possibility to start production and thus supply the Polish armed forces with modern 30 × 173 mm caliber ammunition for the automatic cannon of the Rosomak wheeled combat vehicle.
Cooperation has extended to other areas. Nammo supports Polish companies, including in the development of their own capabilities for the demilitarization of expired ammunition and pyrotechnics. He also commissioned Zakłady Metalowe DEZAMET SA to carry out an important and prestigious task - the development and qualification of a new fuse for 25 mm APEX ammunition, which will be used in the GAU-22/A guns of the F-35 fighters. These works are currently underway, and Dezamet fulfills its obligations flawlessly and on time. The detonator has already been approved by the US commission and is currently undergoing qualification tests.
Face new threats
Modern military forces must face diverse and emerging threats on the battlefield, so they need the ability to respond quickly and effectively. Thanks to the experience and constant investment in development, Nammo today provides a number of advanced solutions both to its customers in Poland and in other countries. 30mm and 120mm ammunition, the M72 LAW anti-tank grenade launcher or the programmable munitions concept are just a few examples of the company's solutions. The Nammo 30mm ammunition family consists of sub-caliber rounds, multi-purpose rounds, and practice shots that are designed and manufactured to the company's highest standards and combine operational safety with combat effectiveness.
Main Battle Tank Ammunition The 120 mm round tank gun cartridge is also a very effective combat weapon and is increasingly being used by militaries around the world today. This ammunition is characterized by high penetrating power, as well as effective destruction of the target by fragmentation and explosive force.
The 120mm IM HE-T (Insensit Munition High Explosive Tracer) cartridge is designed to provide a combination of high firepower and high accuracy to limit secondary damage.
In turn, the 120 mm cartridge with MP multi-purpose bullet, as the name suggests, is extremely versatile. It can detonate on impact, break through the walls of buildings and other fortified objects, which helps its fighters, for example, when operating in urban environments. The detonation can be delayed by allowing the projectile to break through the wall of a building and explode inside the object. This means that targets such as enemy headquarters or sniper positions can be neutralized without causing serious collateral damage.
