Formula 1 racing legend Michael Schumacher is celebrating his debut in Europe's most prestigious racing circuit this week.

His first career race was in Belgium at Spa-Francorchamps, where he competed against the likes of Ayrton Senna and Nelson Piquet. On the starting line, Schumacher replaced Bertrand Gachot, Jordan's official rider. All because of a quarrel with a taxi driver in London, which led to the arrest of Gachot. This opened the way for the young German.

Already during qualifying, Schumacher showed that he could be very fast: he set the seventh fastest time, but could not finish the race due to a clutch problem.

Thus began the story of the most successful German racing driver, who won his first championship in 1994, and at the beginning of the new millennium was a real magnate, winning all the championships from 2000 to 2004 inclusive.

Today, as a result of a skiing accident in 2013, Michael Schumacher is not fully functional. The family does not report on the current state of health of the former driver, but most likely needs care.
