7 qualities that a good driver must meet

According to a study prepared by DriveSmart, every third motorist considers himself a good driver (exactly 32%), and 33% believe that they are very good behind the wheel. That's not all: 23% of those surveyed reported excellent handling of their car. At the same time, there are very few of those who consider themselves a bad driver: an ordinary motorist - 3%, a bad motorist - 0,4%.

The qualities of a good driver

What characterizes a good driver? A good driver knows the rules of the road, respects other drivers, and takes good care of his car.

A good driver meets seven qualities.

  1. Meticulous. These are the drivers who before the trip, no matter where, check everything: documents for a car, a certificate of passing inspection, insurance and so on. Such people always keep all documents in the car.
  2. Visionary. Such drivers will never buy wheels or engine oil from an unverified supplier. Such people always calculate everything in advance.
  3. Correct. People who are always fastened at the wheel and demand from those who are in his car. Also here can be attributed those who will never eat while driving or chatting on a cell phone.
  4. Checking the brakes. There are some drivers who do not go on a trip until they check their brakes. This is very correct and logical, because many accidents occur due to malfunctioning brakes.
  5. Polite. Yes, there are such drivers who will gladly give way to those who are in a hurry and will not open the window and curse along the street's road.
  6. Cultural. A good driver will never throw rubbish out of a car window or leave it on the road.
  7. Attentive. Everyone knows that turning on the headlights is necessary, but not everyone uses this rule. However, there are those who will definitely turn on the turn signal, turn on the headlights in the dark or during fog. In this case, traffic will be slowed down.
