Airmatic DC - dual control

The system, which directly affects the vehicle's dynamic stability, consists of electronically controlled semi-active air suspensions.

The semi-active air suspension ideally combines comfort with sportiness. The AIRMATIC DC (Dual Control) system adjusts the air suspension to a harder or softer position, depending on the road situation. For example, when cornering at high speeds, AIRMATIC DC reduces longitudinal and lateral misalignments while increasing driving pleasure.

The electronically controlled air suspension also includes an ADS active suspension system. The AIRMATIC DC system adapts to a wide variety of driving styles and situations, and ADS automatically sets the appropriate damping level for each wheel. But if you want, you can also manually change these settings using a switch on the center console, which allows you to choose between "comfort", "comfort-sport" or "sport" suspension.
