The Mutlu Silver Evolution battery is a real beast!

I decided to write my own review about the Mutlu Calcium Silver battery, which has been successfully working for 4 years without a single failure and recharging. So, the VAZ 2107 car was bought exactly 4 years ago by my parents, and together with it the owner gave this new, just bought battery. At first, when I was not particularly interested in batteries and their characteristics, I did not pay much attention to it. But recently, after charger purchases, I had to re-read a lot of useful literature in order to illuminate this issue for myself a little.

First, I would like to say about the factory battery, which usually comes of the AKOM brand with a capacity of 55 Amperes * hour and a starting current of 425 Amperes. Using my car Lada Kalina as an example, I can say that it was enough for me for exactly three years, after which he refused to start the engine. In general, I am not a fan of installing batteries with a larger capacity, unlike factory ones, but in this case there was simply nowhere to go, since the battery was just bought before the car was sold to us. But as it turned out, even with a slightly higher capacity of 62 Amp * hour, there were never any problems with electrical equipment.

• The Silver Series indicates that these batteries are designed for more severe operating conditions at lower temperatures. The fact is that the plates are made with a silver alloy, which helps to reduce corrosion and higher electrical conductivity. Accordingly, the electrolyte will not freeze even in record frosts for central Russia.
• The starting current of this battery is as much as 540 Ampere * hour, which is a huge indicator compared to the factory battery. And this means that in severe frosts, you will not have problems with engine starts.
• the battery capacity is 62 Ampere * hour, which is more than enough for a VAZ car.

Now I will say a few words about the exploitation of this beast! Mutlu Silver Evolution has been working regularly on the VAZ 4 for 2107 years already. Starting the engine without problems not only in summer, but also at the lowest temperatures down to -37 degrees. Retrieved in the winter of 2014.

By itself, this battery never sat down, only once, forgetting to turn off the dimensions for the night, he sat down! But even after that, its nobody charged with a charger, just started the car from the pusher and it was then charged from the generator. And only a couple of days ago I decided to charge it with the help of the device, not because it did not cope with its task, but to restore the full charge of the battery, and so that the father would not be embarrassed by the light bulb on it, which did not burn green before ...
