Current EV prices including the cheapest EVs [December 2019]

The transfer of subsidies for electric vehicles until the first quarter of 2020 froze the dynamics of prices at distributors. Therefore, at the end of the year, we decided to collect the current prices of electric vehicles with which we enter 2020. The cheapest subsidized electric vehicles are the Skoda CitigoE iV, Volkswagen e-Up and Smart EQ ForTwo.

Skoda CitigoE iV: price from PLN 57 with surcharge / PLN 330 without surcharge

In December 2019, the Skoda CitigoE iV went up in price – in November it could be booked for PLN 73. This is the cheapest version of the car with a real range of about 300 kilometers (220 km WLTP) and no fast charging outlet. For the latter, you will have to pay several thousand zlotys - in our opinion, it is worth it.

> Skoda CitigoE iV: PRICE from PLN 73 for the Ambition version, from PLN 300 for the Style version. So far later from PLN 81

Nissan Leaf: from 82 PLN surcharge / 600 PLN no surcharge

Between white (segment A) and yellow (segment B), the Nissan Leaf looks quite amazing - it is a compact car (segment C). But in fact, the distributor is offering a car at an advertising price of PLN 118 with a built-in 000 kW charger. A variant with a 3,6 kW charger was also available for a while, but apparently that has now run out.

However, it is worth noting that other equipment options are available in good promotions: N-Connecta (2019) costs from PLN 138. Until recently, it was more than PLN 050 more.

BMW i3 "surcharge for companies"

We also included the BMW i3 in the list of "subsidies for companies" because we received unofficial information that BMW is preparing a modestly equipped version of the BMW i3 intended for subsidies for companies, that is, at a price of about 139 PLN. Unfortunately, neither the equipment of the car, nor the battery capacity were disclosed to us.

Volkswagen ID.3

The prices for the Volkswagen ID.3 are based on Danish price lists that were recently sent out to potential car buyers. Let's add, however, honestly that we expect the Pure / 45 kWh version to be available at a price close to 125 PLN.

> Prices for VW ID.3 are known in Denmark. We get 121 PLN for the 45 kWh / Pure version.

... and more expensive

The list also includes slightly more expensive and very expensive cars. We decided to add to the schedule Tesla Model Ybecause in the comments we saw signals that our readers do not understand that the car has already been priced. Also there was an estimate Dinner Volkswagena ID.4 [Crozza], Volvo XC40 Recharge or Ford Mustang Mach-E.

Many of these amounts are approximate. Our internal statistics show that we are in error by -5 / + 12 percent, but the introduction of a subsidy system may distort these values.

Here's a breakdown of prices:
