The XB7 lives up to Alpina's time-tested recipe: a car that's more noble and refined than the production model, but not as aggressive as the sporty M version. Classic multi-spoke wheels are available for the first time in 23-inch format, Akrapovic's quad-tip exhaust system and redesigned front and rear bumpers. Alpina has also taken care of the necessary dose of sophistication in the interior, which can be customized with sports seats, a sports steering wheel and various types of soft leather upholstery and elegant woodwork.
Alpina XB7 has over 600 horsepower
Under the hood, Alpina installs a 4,4-liter V8 biturbo that produces a monstrous output of 621 hp. and a maximum torque of 800 Nm. With these figures, the massive SUV has a top speed of 290 km / h and accelerates in 4,2 seconds from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour. The sprint from 0 to 200 kilometers per hour takes just 14,9 seconds - an impressive feat for an SUV weighing 2655 kg to say the least. The eight-speed automatic transmission received special settings from Alpina, the engine cooling system was also fundamentally modified. According to WLTP standards, the average fuel consumption should be 13,9 liters per 100 kilometers.
To properly transfer all this power to the road, Alpina also redesigned the car's chassis. The dual-axle air suspension features newly adjusted adaptive shock absorbers, predictive shock absorber control, rear wheel control and a body vibration compensation system. Sport + mode reduces body levels by 40 millimeters. To achieve even greater body strength, additional transverse reinforcing elements are installed in the engine compartment and in the axle area. The electromechanical stabilizers of the body vibration compensation system, combined with some new components on the chassis, promise much more active behavior in a sporting manner.

The brake system has Brembo four-piston brake calipers and the brake discs are 395 x 36 mm in front and 398 x 38 mm in rear. As an option, a professional sports brake system with ceramic discs and heat-resistant pads is available.
