- I am not a supporter of individual changes in the type of shock absorbers or their stiffness by vehicle users. The operating parameters of the shock absorbers and the entire suspension system are optimally selected by the manufacturer and there is no need to change them. Do-it-yourself modifications can worsen the driving performance of the car, says appraiser Kazimierz Kubiak.
