AMVAR

AMVAR is Peugeot's adaptive damping system. A sensor located in each shock absorber feeds information to the system, which independently controls each wheel's damping according to 9 configurations.

Connected to other integrated computers, AMVAR restricts body movement in a straight line and automatically strengthens the suspension during acceleration, braking and cornering.

The system provides the best compromise between comfort and roadholding and adjusts the shock absorber parameters according to the driver's driving style, vehicle speed and road conditions.

The system can be activated in both sport and automatic mode.
