The German company Liqui Moly is a world famous manufacturer of special automotive fluids, lubricants and chemicals. It was founded in the middle of the last century and entered the Russian market only at the end of it. For twenty years of representation, the manufacturer managed to earn the respect of our consumer.

Among the products manufactured by Liquid Moli, there are four types of refrigerants:

• antifreeze concentrate Kuhlerfrostschutz KFS 2001 Plus G12;
• antifreeze concentrate Kuhlerfrostschutz KFS 2000 G11;
• universal antifreeze Universal Kuhlerfrostschutz GTL 11;
• langzeit Kuhlerfrostschutz GTL12 Plus long-term antifreeze.

Each of them contains the highest quality ethylene glycol, purified soft water and additives that are different for each of the varieties, because they differ in their properties, shelf life and purpose.

Liqui Moly also makes a plug (to protect against oil leaks) and a Kuhler-reiniger wiper. This is a special fluid designed to clean the cooling system. The manufacturer recommends the periodic use of Kuhlerreiniger, when replacing antifreeze or when switching from one to another, as well as when harmful deposits and sediment are found in the system. It is added to the coolant and merges with it after three hours of engine operation.

Antifreeze concentrate Kuhlerfrostschutz KFS 2001 Plus G12

1 liter red concentrate

This concentrated antifreeze is produced using organic (carboxylic) acid technology and belongs to the G12 standard for carboxylate fluids. Its inhibitors quickly and decisively eliminate emerging corrosion centers. This provides a high level of protection.

Liqui Moly Plus G12 coolant is recommended for use without replacement for five years. Unless, of course, the vehicle manufacturer recommends otherwise. Its scope is stationary engines, trucks and cars, buses, special equipment and motorcycles. Topping up this coolant is especially recommended for heavily loaded aluminum engines.

Interesting! The color of the liquid is red. Thanks to such a bright color, you can easily detect a leak and eliminate a microcrack. Liquid Moli Red antifreeze concentrate can be mixed with carboxylate and silicate antifreezes.

Because it is a concentrate, it should be diluted with soft water, preferably distilled or filtered, before being filled into the system. The degree of frost protection will depend on the ratio of water to concentrate. So, for example, in a 1:1 ratio, the coolant will begin to crystallize no earlier than minus 40 degrees Celsius.

Antifreeze-concentrate Kuhlerfrostschutz KFS 2000 G11

Blue concentrate 1 l

This substance is an antifreeze concentrate produced by standard hybrid technology, corresponding to class G11. This allows you to combine in one and the silicate component, which creates a smooth film on the surface of the parts that protects them from wear and perfectly lubricates them. And organic corrosion inhibitors, which, like an ambulance, are sent to where the negative processes of metal destruction have already begun or are about to begin, crushing them in the bud.

Liquid Moli G11 coolant interacts well with internal combustion engines and radiators made of aluminum, light alloys, and is also compatible with cast iron. The scope of its application is the cooling systems of any engines of cars and trucks, buses, agricultural machinery. Also suitable for stationary engines.

The color of the antifreeze is blue. The fluid can be mixed with any analogues, but cannot be mixed with a coolant without silicates in the composition. Shelf life - 2 years.

The blue concentrate must be diluted before use with purified soft water strictly according to the instructions. In a 1:1 ratio, the product will protect the engine from freezing down to -40 degrees Celsius.

Universal antifreeze Universal Kuhlerfrostschutz GTL 11

5 liters of blue coolant

This blue-green coolant is nothing more than a ready-to-use multi-purpose coolant. Its production is based on traditional hybrid technology, that is, it contains silicates and organic additives (carboxylic acids). Silicates create a protective film on the surface of cooling system components and provide excellent lubrication and friction reduction. Coals act in a directed way, destroying the centers of corrosion and preventing its development. The product complies with the G11 standard.

Liquid Moli universal antifreeze is able to protect the engine from freezing and overheating in the temperature range from -40 to +109 degrees Celsius. It also provides excellent protection against corrosion, wear and foaming.

Liqui Moly Universal is suitable for use in cooling systems of any engines (including aluminum ones). It is used in cars and trucks, specialized vehicles, buses. Also, such antifreeze can be suitable in stationary engines and other units. The term of use without replacement is 2 years.

The liquid is completely ready for use, which means that it does not require dilution with water. It can be mixed with any ethylene glycol-based antifreeze, except those that do not contain silicates.

Long-term antifreeze Langzeit Kuhlerfrostschutz GTL12 Plus

Red coolant 5 l

Modern red antifreeze with a long drain interval. Its duration is five years or more unless the vehicle manufacturer recommends otherwise. It is a ready-to-use coolant produced using carboxylate technology. It belongs to the latest generation of antifreezes and complies with the G12 + (plus) standard.

The substance effectively protects against freezing and overheating in the temperature range from minus 40 to plus 109 degrees Celsius. Quickly and effectively neutralizes foci of corrosion, prevents its further spread. It cleans the system, due to the absence of harmful substances in the composition, it does not allow the formation of deposits.

Liqui Moly G12 Plus Red Antifreeze is suitable for all engines of cars and trucks, special equipment, agricultural machinery, buses, motorcycles and stationary engines. Especially recommended for heavy aluminum engines.

The liquid is ready for use, it is not necessary to dilute it with water. It can be mixed with standard G11 and G12 antifreezes, but it is better not to do this unless absolutely necessary.

How to distinguish a fake

The Liquid Moli trademark monitors the safety of its products and fights against fakes. However, here there are cases of fakes - the reviews confirm this.

So far, no fakes have been found. The seal is forged by hand. Used canisters of original antifreeze are used more often. One of the cheap analogues is poured into them, or a suspension of unknown origin.

Therefore, you need to inspect the container for signs of opening. The cap must be one-piece, firmly connected to the protective ring, and not a snail. There should be no punctures or rough seal marks in the area of ​​the seam.

Another fake option - Liquid Moli will also be in a container, but this is a cheaper option. For example, instead of G12 there will be G11. This option is not particularly profitable, so it's unlikely, but it's worth checking the labels. If they have been re-glued, bumps, creases and glue residue may appear. Well, after unpacking the canister, you can distinguish antifreeze by color - it is different for different standards.
