At Eicma 2018, Aprilia presents a new version of the road legal superbike: lighter and more efficient.

Aprilia is EICMA 2018 new RSV4 Factory 2019, the most powerful supercar from Noale ever. It is now powered by a 1.078cc four-cylinder engine. Cm.  to deliver even more impressive performance that also benefits from increasingly sophisticated electronics and an aerodynamic package designed for racing.

The engine now produces 217 hp.

Aprilia's V-twin engine has had its cylinder bore increased from 78mm to 81mm and power increased to 217 CV at 13.200 weights / min, with a simultaneous increase in torque by 10% (122 Nm) over the entire feed range. Debuts a new exhaust Akrapovic in homologated titanium, while the chassis always uses an all-round aluminum frame in combination with pendulum harder aluminum. Thanks to the new steering bushings, the wheelbase has changed (decreased by 4 mm), as well as the weight distribution. The suspension calibration has also been revised. Ohlins (NIX30 front and TTX back).

Modern electronics and new brake calipers

The APRC electronic unit, equipped with the latest technology, takes care of managing so much energy. Technology used on racing bikes (including ABS Cornering and quickshifter gearbox). The braking system is instead signed by Brembo and includes new Stylema calipers compatible with carbon fiber conveyors (the same as the motorcycle used in MotoGP). Finally, the new RSV4 1100 Factory has a curb weight of 199 kg, thanks in part to a new lithium battery. Bosch.
