Audi has launched its e-Tron GT, a gorgeous electric car designed to compete with Tesla, with a base price of $100,000.

The Audi e-tron GT is the first electric vehicle developed by Audi Sport.

On February 99,900, Audi introduced the new all-electric e-tron sedan coming to the United States this summer with its GT edition starting at $139,900 and the RS starting at $XNUMX.

The standard Audi e-tron GT will be capable of generating up to 350 kilowatts (kW) of power, or about 470 horsepower, while the RS version boasts 440kW, or about 590 horsepower.

However, these models have a mode over-amplification, those numbers jumped to 522 horsepower in the GT and 637 horsepower in the RS. FROM over-amplification and launch control activated, the e-Tron GT can accelerate from 0 to 60 miles per hour in 4.1 seconds, and the RS version does it in just 3.3 seconds.

This model is equipped with two electric motors, which are able to provide safe electric four-wheel drive and amazing driving performance. It also features an 85 kWh high-voltage battery, a range of up to 298 miles, and can be recharged very quickly thanks to its 800-volt technology.

The new model uses lithium-ion batteries with a total capacity of 93 kWh (usable capacity 85 kWh) located under the cab floor, which ensures ideal weight distribution and a very low center of gravity.

Audi's two high-performance editions were built using technology developed for Porsche's first electric vehicle, the Taycan.

The design of the Audi e-tron GT has a much sportier design, compared to any other sedan models of the brand. This model was designed by Audi Sport, which added wheels up to 21″, a light animation when opening and closing the vehicle. At the front we can find a large front grille, large side air intakes and sharp design LED optical lights.

Inside, e-tron offers luxurious materials such as , alcantara, artificial leather, high quality textiles, aluminium. It has a 12.3" digital instrument cluster and 10.1-inch center screen infotainment system.
