The ZF 8HP8 50-speed automatic transmission has been assembled at a factory in Germany since 2014 and is installed on rear-wheel drive BMW models like GA8HP50Z and all-wheel drive like GA8HP50X. This box is also installed on Chrysler, Doodge and Jeep under its own index 850RE.
The second generation 8HP also includes: 8HP65, 8HP75 and 8HP95.
