The curb weight of the test car was 1847 kg, which is 236 kg more than the coupé version with the same engine, and 157 kg more than the previous model of the cabriolet. Of course, this feature affected many other indicators, for example, in corners, quite far from the almost phenomenal lightness and accuracy that the lighter versions of the new "three" demonstrate.
However, the driving pleasure is worth it
On the other hand, the 335i test has more to offer, like a really famous turbo engine. Sure, the 306 horsepower in the coupe and sedan is even more impressive, but even with such a heavy body, the abundance of power looks phenomenal for this class.
The monstrous reserve of calmness and domineering power, the ejection of the convertible forward in any conditions, fits perfectly into the general character of the car, and the lack of acceleration in acceleration, known from the coupe of the same model, cannot be called a drawback. Not to mention, the trumpet "voice" of the inline-six is a real pleasure, especially if you have the privilege of listening to it outdoors. The six-speed gearbox also works very well and can always choose the most suitable gear, responding quickly and at the same time gently and smoothly. If desired, the driver can manually shift gears using the steering wheel plates.
A price shock is just around the corner
The price for the "troika" Cabrio starts from 80 leva for the base model 000ii. And the starting price of the 320i is well above the limit of 335 leva. Not to mention such things as climatronic, CD navigation, leather upholstery, aerodynamic deflector, parking sensors, “cornering” headlights, etc. are offered only at an additional cost and therefore the price of the car increases by at least another 100 percent
But is it worth the big investment? Yes. For the money, however, you can get a complete coupe and convertible combination with a great mix of dynamics and comfort and over 300 horsepower under the hood. So BMW has little reason to worry about the market success of its new creation ...

The exquisite metal roof design combines the qualities of a convertible and a coupe. However, the modern solution has led to a significant increase in body weight. Otherwise, the 335i Cabrio shines with excellent driving performance and chassis. However, the price for one idea is higher than necessary.
