Bonus for electric scooters and motorcycles 2018: bonus will increase to 900 euros

From January 1, 2018, the bonus for electric scooters, motorcycles and quads will be reduced to 900 euros, that is, 100 euros less than with the current system.

While the Electric Bike Bonus is due to be completely canceled from February 1, 2018, the bonus offered for the purchase of two / three electric wheels and quads will be slightly reduced. Although since its inception at the beginning of 1000 it was 2017 euros, from 900 January 1 it will fall to 2018 euros.

In theory, the eligibility criteria for the 2018 e-scooter bonus will be the same as this year. Only approved models with lithium batteries and a minimum power of 3 kW will be considered. The information, which will be confirmed when the official decree is published, is expected at the end of the year.

Eligible for a recycling bonus

E-scooters, motorcycles and quads previously dropped from the system will be eligible for the new conversion bonus expected to be released in 2018.

Specifically, in the case of scrapping a car with a gasoline engine before 1997 or a diesel car manufactured before 2006, there will be a surcharge of € 100 for all and € 1.000 2018 for tax-free households. It is enough for the total amount of state aid for the year 900 to be between 1900 and XNUMX euros, depending on the situation.
