Cake Kalk &: Swedish electric motorcycle arrives in Europe

Based on the Kalk OR off-road model, the new Kalk & is presented as an on-road approved electric motorcycle designed to meet urban needs.

There is only one step from the beaten track to asphalt. Making a splash with its "off-road" model, Swedish Cake is announcing a more urban version of its electric motorcycle. Designed on the same basis as the off-road model and licensed for use on public roads, Kalk & gets a range of equipment needed to get it approved: mirrors, indicators and a license plate stand. The seat, steering wheel and lighting systems have also been changed.

On a technical level, we find on board the Kalk and the elements that are on board the Kalk OR, an electric motor with a maximum power of 15 kW, connected to a 2.6 kWh lithium battery (51.8 V - 50 Ah). In terms of performance, the manufacturer promises a top speed of up to 75 km/h and a range of up to 80 km.

In Europe, pre-orders for Cake Kalk & will open in March. If at the moment its price has not been disclosed, it is likely to be higher than that of the "off-road" version announced from 13.000 euros on the manufacturer's website. A case to follow!
