CB radio 2018. The most interesting models on the market

CB radio 2018. The most interesting models on the market CB radio has already experienced two heydays on our roads. The first happened in the early 27s, when the civilian band XNUMX MHz was "liberated" from restrictions. Although the radiotelephone still had to be registered with the appropriate institution and the associated fees paid, few did so. There was a real “free American” in the air and technology.

Interest in this type of communication gradually declined until mid-2004. There were several reasons - one of them was the fear of roadside checks, checking whether we have a registered radiotelephone and whether we pay tolls. Whether the services were able to do this or not is a moot point, but the fact is that sales of new devices have been falling. Another problem that has remained to this day is the culture of conversation. Unfortunately it is not high and by taking the family on vacation our children can learn a new language with CB included. By no means a stranger. This problem is at least partially solved by the new Midland radios, but more on that later. The third factor was the development of mobile telephony. If you need to get to a certain street or find some information, you can just call and do everything without activating everyone around you.

The Renaissance

CB-radio experienced its renaissance and second youth in 2004, when they finally abandoned the illusions about the registration of radiotelephones and allowed the use of equipment subject to its legalization by the manufacturer or distributor. The civic group became fully civic. Cars with extended antennas began to appear on the roads again. Interestingly, in addition to truck drivers, they were also widely used by company car drivers, fearing for the state of their wallet.

Currently, in accordance with the Decree of the Minister of Administration and Digitization of December 12, 2014 (Journal of Laws of 2014, item 1843), broadcasting in Poland is carried out in the frequency range 26,960-27,410 MHz. does not require a radio license or operator certificate. There is also no obligation to present a CB radio approval certificate or a CB radio declaration of conformity to ETSI EN 300 135 in case of a road test; ETSI EN 300 433.

Mobile communications have once again threatened CB radio. The appearance of an application for phones caused another decline in interest in the citizen. However, she did not eliminate it completely.

Now

New technology sales have stabilized at a constant level. The most loyal users remained with CB Radio. While various types of apps provide traffic alerts, CB is still the fastest source of information. It is important, and here the idea of motofaktów.pl should be supported by everyone, because this is the only type of wireless communication that will work in a crisis. In the event of a failure of the BTS cellular communication (due to weather conditions, power outages, etc.), CB radio will remain the only communication network capable of operating in a given area due to its independence.

Changes in driver preferences have also led to changes in the distributor market. Although there are still single copies on store shelves, fans of Uniden, Intek and Yosan will not be able to count on new models anytime soon. The Big Three: Albrecht, Midland, and the President are the strongest. And it is she who introduces new radios.

Device manufacturers are also trying to make new transmitters smaller and smaller (the size of transmitters has been the biggest problem until recently, especially considering installation in a car). And also be as easy to use as possible. We present the most interesting devices available on our market.
