Toyota Land Cruiser 300 Series Prices Confirmed in Australia! Large zoom for GX, GXL, VX, Sahara, Sahara ZX and GR Sport.

The expected price increase for the LC300 has been confirmed.

Toyota has confirmed pricing for the LandCruiser 300 Series for Australia, with price hikes expected across the entire LC300 range.

The six-trim LC300 range will land in Australia in the fourth quarter of this year, each priced around $4 more than the equivalent LandCruiser 10 Series model.

Let's get straight to the point, shall we? The new price list for the LC300 is as follows:

  • GX: $89,990 (was $80,873)
  • GXL: $101,790 (was $92,573)
  • VX: $113,990 (was $103,273)
  • SUGAR: $131,190 (was $124,273).
  • GR SPORT: $137,790
  • SAHARA ZX: $138,790 (was $131,733 - Horizon)

All above prices are manufacturer's price lists and do not include travel expenses.

As expected, all models are powered by the brand's new 3.3kW, 6Nm 227-litre V700 turbodiesel engine, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission, and all come with permanent all-wheel drive and low range, though varying kits are getting more advanced. off-road equipment.

The brand also confirmed fuel consumption for the new engine: The LC300 delivers a claimed 8.9L/100km combined or 7.6L/100km highway, and also provides 3.5 tons of towing.

Toyota says the GR Sport was designed as a "base car for the Dakar Rally" and is intended to provide "a deeper off-road and sporty character" than the regular LC300 lineup.

To do this, the GR Sport gets locking front and rear differentials, as well as e-KDSS, also known as Toyota's Electronic Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System, which independently locks and releases the front and rear anti-roll bars.

The result, according to Toyota, is a vehicle that provides "optimum traction and wheel articulation in off-road conditions, combined with a lower roll angle, resulting in higher levels of on-road ride comfort and handling stability."

It also looks different, with different dimensions compared to the regular LC300 lineup, along with a redesigned front end with "TOYOTA" lettering and black 18-inch alloy wheels, black wheel arches, black side steps, door handles, mirror caps and windows. . lines.

You also get the Toyota Safety Sense package, which includes AEB with pedestrian and cyclist detection, as well as active cruise, auto-climb, lane technology, and lane-keeping assist on select models.

GX and GXL models get new 9.0-inch center screens that grow to 12.3 inches in the VX class and above, with Apple CarPlay, traffic sign reading, electronic parking brake and hill descent assist.

GX models feature LED headlights, keyless entry and push-button start, dual-zone climate control, power windows and a rearview camera.

The seven-seat GXL comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, wireless charging, and an auto-dimming rear-view mirror. It is also the first model to use Toyota's Cross Country Select System.

The VX models get a 12.3-inch screen that is paired with 10 speakers. There's also a new 7.0-inch driver information display, four-zone climate control, eight cup holders, a power-adjustable steering wheel and heated and ventilated front seats.

Finally, the Sahara ZX will debut with a new chrome grille, redesigned headlights and new taillights. It features 20-inch alloy wheels, illuminated side steps, front door sills, rear mudguards and a chrome rear bumper.

Billing the launch as a two-pronged strategy (with the regular LandCruiser and GR Sport), Toyota says the new model is "the absolute expression of the LandCruiser DNA."

“Our new GR Sport is the ultimate all-wheel drive vehicle, specially equipped for owners who really love rough terrain and off-road rallying,” says Sean Hanley, director of sales and marketing for Toyota Australia.

“The sleek styling of the Sahara ZX lends an even more prestigious and high-quality image to customers who use their LandCruiser primarily for city driving and family vacations.

"The impressive new or upgraded features and technologies across the entire new lineup represent remarkable value, elevating LandCruiser SUV luxury to new heights and cementing the legendary model's enduring reputation as the off-road king."
