How long does it take for alcohol to leave the body?

You can find information about how long this or that alcoholic drink disappears. All these data are based on the average person aged 35 to 50 years and weighing 75-90 kilograms.

So vodka:

  • 50 grams - an hour and a half;
  • 100 grams - from three to five hours;
  • 250 grams - from 8 to 10 hours;
  • 500 grams - from 15 to 20 hours.

Wine and Port:

  • 200 grams - 3-3,5 hours;
  • 300 grams - 3,5-5 hours;
  • 500 grams - 5-7 hours.

According to the Rules of the Road, you can only drive if you have no more than 0,3 ppm alcohol.

Separately, it is worth noting that even if you try to disguise alcohol intoxication with a plentiful snack or chewing gum, and it seems to you that you feel quite adequate, then with the help of a breathalyzer, the traffic police inspector will be able to determine the degree of your intoxication and send you for a medical examination.

Even the lightest alcoholic drinks can significantly affect the concentration of attention. As the results of many experiments show, the effect of alcohol on the human brain can last for several weeks, even if you have long forgotten that a few days ago you accidentally drank one bottle of beer or several shots of vodka more than your usual norm.

Please also note that the breathalyzer reacts not only to alcoholic beverages. Even if you drank ordinary kefir, kvass or non-alcoholic beer, the breathalyzer tube may turn green. He also reacts to medicines containing alcohol, sweets with liquor such as "Drunken Cherry", toothpastes.

All data given above is very relative and individual. The best way to avoid fines, and most importantly, accidents, is to drive only with a fresh mind. If you went over a bit yesterday, then do not sit in the driver's seat without special need.
