What the cast of 'Game of Thrones' is doing in real life

A large-scale television event will take place this spring. After eight incredible seasons, the epic HBO series Game of thrones will come to an end. The amazing fantasy saga has been a ratings hit and has also won numerous Emmy awards. Viewers love this brutal story about a land torn apart by war and facing the threat of an army of fantastic zombies.

The show has become infamous for no one being safe. Beloved characters have come to a tragic end, and even some of the bad guys have fallen in unexpected ways. Thus, fans are wondering if anyone is going to make it to the final alive and what will happen to them after that.

It's been a long journey for both the actors and the characters. Many have gone on to become huge stars thanks to the show, while younger actors have grown up with it (literally in the case of Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who grew from a small kid to six feet tall between seasons). It's an emotional end for all of them, and for the fans as well. It also draws attention to how the success of the show has resulted in several cast members getting very enjoyable rides.

Some stars are tight-lipped about what they drive (like Jerome Flynn, who plays the popular hitman Bronn), but others flaunt their stuff a lot. Some Got the actors are social media leaders and brag about their trips online. Even actors who are no longer on the show have some pretty good rides. Here are the top 20 Got the actors drive when they're not in Westeros (spoilers ahead).

19 Nikolay Koster-Valdau

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, a veteran of various movies and TV series, has finally made it big as Jaime Lannister. The "Kingslayer" is a complex person who oscillates between doing terrible things and trying to be a noble person. Despite his often sinister actions, the character is popular for Nikolai's good looks and dashing demeanor. Surprisingly, the man is not so fond of fancy rides. His main car was a 2007 Skoda ("I'm proud of my... car") and he was also seen in an Audi F103. The closest he came to fancy cars was the Aston Martin he drove. Another woman. The fact that he doesn't pay huge sums of money for fancy rides only adds to the actor's appeal.

18 Richard Madden

It seemed that Robb Stark was going to be the new hero of the show. After his father Ned met a brutal death, Robb became "King in the North" to lead the war against the Lannisters. Richard Madden was well suited to this handsome leader and looked ready to shine as the new face of power. Instead, he was cast in the infamous "Red Wedding" scene. Madden has since won a Golden Globe for his sensational Bodyguard drama and rumored for the next James Bond casting. He has a good collection of cars, including a great Jaguar F-Type as his last car. This demonstrates that Madden can lead a heroic life behind the scenes.

17 Shawn Bin

Rumor has it that Sean Bean's character gets turned down in almost every movie and TV show he stars in. However, for viewers who haven't read the books, it was a shock when Ned Stark met his fate. Fans thought that Ned would be the hero of the saga who would overcome the odds and defeat the Lannisters. Instead, he lost his head before the season one finale, setting off an epic struggle for the series. As it happened, Bean confessed, “In the past, I've had a Porsche, a BMW, and a Jag. I'm a little tired of driving expensive cars that are scratched or scratched." As such, Bean now prefers a Ford Ranger pickup truck that fits his rugged nature.

16 Christopher Hivju

The rising popularity of Tormund the Giant Death is one of the Wildlings, a fellow warrior from beyond the Wall. Rejected as savages, they are in fact the last line of defense against the White Walkers. Fans love his funny lines and his flirting with Brienne. Christopher Hivju did a great job, especially when Tormund joins the other warriors on a fantastic mission against the White Walkers. Hivju is friends with Rory McCann, who plays the equally rough and popular Sandor Clegane (aka Dog). They can be seen driving a Porsche Boxster Hivju and making funny online videos. It's fun to see this tough guy in such a fancy car and that's why the fans love him so much.

15 Natalie Dormer

Already a popular actress in England, Natalie Dormer fit into the Got pretty good, like Margaery Tyrell. A beautiful schemer, Margaery went to great lengths to elevate her status, easily seducing her way to power. She got really mixed up in some of her affairs and that led to a pretty horrendous fall. Dormer is still very popular for his roles in The Hunger Games and a recurring role in the series Primary School. Surprisingly, Dormer is a bit conservative in her choice of car, as she actually drives a Toyota Prius. But he also has a classic Aston Martin DB5. With her amazing looks and noticeable smirk on her face, Dormer loves her cars.

14 Jason Momoa

Today Jason Momoa is a real megastar. He became an icon, turning Aquaman from a joke into a box-office hit, and continues to appear in movies, talk shows, and more. It was Got this made Momoa famous when he starred in the first season as Khal Drogo. The mighty warrior was the main highlight of the first season, Daenerys' romance, and it was a surprise when the character fell in battle. Momoa loves luxurious, sturdy cars like the Range Rover and Land Rover Defender. He is also a big fan of motorcycles, having a custom Harley Davidson among his many cruisers. It's no surprise that the hulking actor enjoys as powerful rides as he does.

13 Carice Van Houten

The Dutch actress has garnered attention in films such as Black book. But Carice Van Houten gained worldwide fame on Got as Melisandre, a priestess who claims to work for the ancient gods. This leads to the bold moves of her seducing men, making cruel sacrifices, and bringing Jon Snow back to life. The stunning scene revealed that her beauty is an illusion, as she is in fact an old witch. Surprisingly, Van Houten has a very serious car collection. She owns Opel Ampera, Lamborghini Huracan, Audi S5 Coupe, Aston Martin and Mercedes Benz G-Wagen. The red woman shows that she seriously loves gorgeous wheels.

12 Gwendoline Christie

Fans were concerned about the casting of Brienne of Tarth. A woman must be very resilient to survive in this world, and this knight fights harder than most men. How many six-foot actresses could be believable warriors? As it turned out, Gwendolyn Christie perfectly coped with the role. This catapulted her to stardom and she also played Phasma in a recent Star Wars films and is distinguished by its amazing power. Christie admitted that, given her height, she prefers to ride with a driver or even use Uber, rather than drive herself. However, she has been seen driving up to events in some Nissan sedans such as the Sentra. This shows how much a unique machine is needed to deal with this bossy lady.

11 Alfie Allen

Theon Greyjoy was the son of a lord who was often bullied and sent to the Starks to be better raised. At first, fans were sympathetic to the character, but that all changed when he turned on the Starks. However, he paid for this with terrible treatment from Ramsey Bolton and is now trying to redeem himself. Alfie Allen did a good job in the role and is known as the brother of popular singer Lily Allen. Allen doesn't spend much of his salary on cars (in fact, he spent his first show paycheck to take a friend out to dinner) and usually drives a Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class. The character is still hard on fans, but Allen is one of the nicest off-camera guys in the cast.

10 Ian Glen

Jorah Mormont, the series' most popular character, is an exiled northern lord who swore allegiance to Daenerys. They bonded and he clearly loved her, but later confessed that he had been sent to spy on her for the cunning Varys. He was exiled, but later returned to redeem himself and become her assistant again. Ian Glen is slightly prettier than in the book version of the character, but still reflects the tough side of a man who has overcome great odds. Glen isn't one of the hottest actors and doesn't spend his money on a bunch of crazy stuff. This is confirmed by the fact that his car is a Renault Scenic, which he usually uses for grocery trips.

9 Lena Hidi

Lena Headey used to be a famous actress Game of Thrones. with roles in 300 и Terminator: The Sarah Connor ChroniclesHeadey was a great choice for Cersei Lannister. A twisted and selfish woman, Cersei's lust for power is so great that she is willing to ignore the threat of the White Walkers rather than work with others. Being more of a veteran than the other actors, Headey was able to amass a fine collection of cars. She has been seen in an Audi A7 as well as a Jeep Cherokee. Headey also boasts a Tesla Model S and Chrysler 300. Fans love to hate her character, but Headey has established herself as the popular star of the show.

8 Peter Dinklage

As soon as the series was announced, the fans united in one thing: Peter Dinklage was the main only choice for the role of Tyrion Lannister. A snarky dwarf who happens to be the only decent person in his twisted family, this character is one of the most popular in the series. As a veteran actor, Dinklage was well suited for the role, which earned him two Emmy Awards. Given his short stature, Dinklage could not have been expected to have so many fancy cars. In fact, his only main car for personal use is a Chrysler 300 specially designed for him. The actor has extended his fame to numerous films (such as Endless War), and his star power stands out from the show's other cast members.

7 Maisie Williams

As Got In the beginning, Arya Stark was shown as a tomboy who enjoyed playing with swords more than being a lady. The show took Arya to dark places where she lost her family and went on a harsh adventure. This turned her into a cunning killer and master of disguise, as well as a real vicious fighter. Williams is only 21 and therefore only has a few years of driving license. Therefore, her car collection is not as large as that of her co-stars. Her primary vehicle is a Range Rover, although she has been seen traveling with her best friend and co-star Sophie Turner. Williams prefers to be down to earth, which is why, like Arya, she prefers a simple ride over a quirky appearance.

6 Sophie Turner

One of the best character evolutions of the series was Sansa Stark. At first a selfish girl who was hated by the public, Sansa is now a skilled player in the Game. Sophie Turner got used to this role, and it brought her great fame. This includes the role of young Jean Gray in the latest X-Men films to show the same steel and power as in the series. Engaged to Joe Jonas, Turner used her wealth to amass a large car collection. This includes the Audi A7, Audi R8, Volvo V90 and the white Porsche Panamera. It's a pretty good collection and doesn't even include the cars she shares with Jonas. Even without being a Lady of Winterfell, Turner enjoys the good social life.

5 Emilia Clarke

Daenerys Targaryen was originally played by another actress. When the pilot was re-shot, Emilia Clarke took on the role of a young woman who rises to be queen. Clarke has become a star thanks to her daring role, which reveals a lot for her, but also shows true strength. Clarke has risen thanks to the series with roles in Solo: A Star Wars Story and other films. She also receives $2 million per episode, which is a record salary for television. Thanks to this success, Clarke has a great car collection that includes the Audi A8, Audi Q3, Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class, Aston Martin DB9 and the classic Mercedes-Benz 380 SL. It looks like the Mother of Dragons really likes to ride in style.

4 Harington kit

As Jon Snow, Kit Harington became the face of the show. The former outcast has now become a heroic leader and king. In the final season, Jon will wage war against the White Walkers in order to save the kingdom. Harington is now married to Rose Leslie (who played John's late love Ygritte) and the couple bought a Land Rover Defender 90 as their wedding car. Harington also has a great Jaguar F-Type that he can drive. He is also an avid motorcyclist and has a Triumph Thruxton in his collection. Also, as an Infiniti spokesperson, Harington has a Q60 that he advertised for himself. The show loved the line, "You don't know anything, Jon Snow," but Harington knows a few cute rides.

3 Aidan Gillen

via classiccargarage

HBO viewers already knew Aidan Gillen for his role as the slimy Tommy Carcetti in the acclaimed drama. The wire. It was a good introduction to the role of Petyr "Littlefinger" Baelish. The conniving councilor has been loyal to no one but himself, and is constantly working his way up to greater power. Basically, he made the whole mess by framing Tyrion for pushing Bran out the window, among other tricks. Fans loved to hate him, and when Sansa and Arya finally outsmarted Littlefinger, there was a big round of applause. In real life, Gillen favors the Mercedes S-Class line of cars, although he has also been seen driving a Volvo Amazon 121. His co-stars like to joke that if anyone can talk themselves out of a ticket, it's Gillen.

2 Nathalie Emmanuel

The main difference from the books is the character of Missandel. The young woman who becomes Daenerys' confidant is a barely teenage character in the novels. In the TV show, the adult and beautiful Nathalie Emmanuel starred in the role. Emmanuel also became a favorite for Fast and furious fans for her role as hacker Ramsey. Unlike other actors, Emmanuelle was not a big car lover before she was cast in films. She's become more intrigued by them given the huge stunts, but tends to stick with some simple Nissan sedans like the Sentra and Versa. She may rise in the future, but for now, Emmanuelle doesn't mind being seen as less dexterous than her co-stars.

1 Jack Gleason

It takes a really skilled actor to create such a hated character. Joffrey was already shown at the beginning as a selfish child, obviously spoiled by his mother Cersei and considering himself ready to become king. When he took the throne, it became clear that the boy was a real monster who enjoyed the pain of others, but was a coward at heart. Fans openly cheered when the character finally met his end. Off-screen, Jack Gleason was a great guy who got along with everyone. Gleason effectively announced his retirement from acting to pursue an academic career. He dabbled in some cars like the Range Rover and the Audi A8 and this Mercedes. He may not play anymore, but Gleason definitely has a lot to remember.
