What happens if you put different tires in the front and rear

The team of the American company Tire Reviews conducted another test, which clearly showed what the experiments of many drivers with tires lead to. This time, they tested how a car with expensive and cheap tires would behave on different axles.

In fact, this method is widespread - car owners put one set of new tires, most often on the drive axle, and another set of cheap (or used).

Only two stable wheels are clearly not enough for the driver to drive the car confidently. At the same time, on a wet surface, the test car - a BMW M2 with 410 horses under the hood, is quite dangerous.

Tire Reviews reminds that tires play an important role in a car as they affect stability, handling, acceleration, braking and even fuel consumption. And if they are different, this worsens the behavior of the car, because their parameters - tread size, mixture composition and stiffness of the lord - do not work the same way.
