What should you have in your trunk?
If we have a little idea about minor repairs and like to do it ourselves, it is worth enriching the basic factory tool kit that comes with each car with additional elements.

The tool kits that come with cars are getting poorer and poorer with their technological progress. As a rule, in the trunk there are only a wheelbrace and a jack. Probably, this is largely due to the fact that with a car full of modern technology, we can hardly do anything ourselves, but sometimes minor repairs made with simple tools allow us to at least get to the nearest garage.
Of course, we will not persuade anyone to carry the entire workshop in the trunk. However, it is worth adding an additional screwdriver with an interchangeable tip (flat and Phillips), pliers, a few basic flat keys (the most common key sizes in a car are usually 8 mm, 10 mm, 13 mm and 17 mm). ), a piece of wire in case the element needs to be ligated, and a penetrating liquid that makes it easier to loosen stuck bolts and nuts.
A candle wrench will also come in handy, and now it needs to be well adjusted not only to the size of the candle, but also to their location (very often candles go deep enough that a specially extended wrench is required).
Especially now, when the temperature outside is starting to drop below zero, there should be jumpers in the trunk in case our battery refuses to obey or another driver needs help.
We also need to make sure we have a set of spare light bulbs. Manufacturers do not add a set of light bulbs to their cars, which should be a spare just in case. The exact specification and wattage of the bulbs is always indicated in the car's owner's manual.
It is also necessary to have a first aid kit and a reflective vest with you. A regular first aid kit, although not required by law, can come in handy, for example, in case of minor cuts when changing a wheel.
