The 3 Citroen DS2018 Crossback is the first crossover of the DS sub-brand. The model was presented at the Paris Motor Show. The combination of volumetric body elements with the compact dimensions of the car set the model apart from the crossovers of other brands. The family radiator grille is located between the matrix headlights. At the rear, the compact cross received Hi-Tec headlights. The novelty has replaced the DS3 hatchback.

The novelty is built on a modular platform that allows the manufacturer to assemble crossovers with both internal combustion engines and an electric motor. The engine lineup includes three 3-liter 1.2-cylinder petrol engines, as well as two 1.5-liter diesel engines. For them, a 6-speed manual or a Japanese automatic transmission with 8 speeds is offered.

As for the electric version of the 3 Citroen DS2018 Crossback, a 137 hp electric motor is offered as a power plant, which is powered by a lithium-ion battery (located under the floor of the cabin) with a capacity of 50 kWh. The power plant supports accelerated charging (up to 80% in just 30 minutes). The car can be fully charged from a regular electrical outlet in just 8 hours. On the WLTP cycle, the car will be able to cover 320 km.
