The navigation system is connected to the Internet and collects real-time traffic information on this basis. The climax is a boot opened with a gesture. Citroën's absolute hallmark is also the Lounge package, which features a seat with footrest – you won't find it anywhere else.

Let's also look at the numbers. The length of the body is less than 4,6 m, the width is 1,83 m, the height is 1,64 m. The wheelbase is 2,84 m. The luggage compartment holds from 645 to 704 liters.

Engines with a volume of 1.6 to 2.0 liters, three diesel engines and two gasoline engines are responsible for the drive. Power varies from 100 to 165 hp.

Volkswagen Turan

Citroen doesn't really want to compete with Volkswagen. It is 25 cm shorter than the Sharan and 7 cm longer than the Touran. The latter, however, will also carry 7 people, and the difference is smaller. Thus, the competitor is Touran.

Volkswagen is equipped with the same systems as Citroen. This brand is investing a lot in new technology, so it won't surprise us that it has something that the French haven't developed yet - Trailer Assist. Trailer parking helps drivers who do not have much experience in this matter. For those who have parked with the kit several times, this feature may seem superfluous.

Touran will also be defended if we resolve the issue of impairment. In just a few years, Volkswagen will lose value in less than a few years. The main advantage here, perhaps, is the trunk, which has a volume of 743 liters.

The German minivan also has more powerful engines. At the top of the offer we will see a 1.8 TSI with 180 hp. and 2.0 TDI with 190 hp. However, the price list opens with a 1.2 TSI unit with 110 hp. Four-cylinder.

Toyota Verso

This is another car in this ranking that holds its value very well. After three years and 90 km, it will still cost 000% of the price. However, Verso differs from the Grand C52,80 Picasso in body length - it is shorter by almost 4 cm. For some, this will be an advantage, for others, a disadvantage. It depends on whether we care more about the capacity and amount of space in the third row, or about compact dimensions and more convenient parking.

Citroen trunk holds 53 liters more. Verso is also less technically advanced. Cruise control does not adapt speed to other vehicles, and there is no automatic parking or lane keeping system. It signals the presence of another vehicle in the blind spot and reacts if there is a risk of a collision. The Toyota Touch 2 with Go is also inferior to both previous models. Although TomTom Real Time Traffic should keep it updated with current traffic levels, it does so with a significant delay. He often informs us about traffic jams that have long been discharged.

There are only three engines in the offer: 1.6 Valvematic with 132 hp, 1.8 Valvematic with 147 hp. and 1.6 D-4D 112 hp

Renault Grand Scenic

Renault Grand Scenic is closest to Citroen in terms of body dimensions. Just 3,7 cm longer. The wheelbase is about the same length, resulting in slightly more space inside for both the passenger and the luggage, which boasts a volume of 596 liters.

However, we are interested in systems that make travel easier and safer. The Renault Grand Scenic is one of the newest models on this list, so it's no surprise that most of the systems from the Grand C4 Picasso are present. There is active cruise control, emergency braking and lane keeping. The trunk holds 533 liters. An interesting fact is the standard 20-inch rims.

In Grand Scenic, we can choose from 5 engines - petrol 1.2 Energy TCe with 110 or 130 hp. and diesel engines - 1.4 dCi 110 hp, 1.6 dCi 130 hp and 1.6 dCi 160 hp

Ford Grand S-Max

Grand C-Max will surprise us, first of all, with convenient access to the rear seat. The second pair of doors slide back, as they do on large vans - and this one is almost 8 cm shorter than the Grand C4 Picasso.

The volume of the luggage compartment is less - 448 liters, as well as the amount of space inside. However, the ride is more interesting - the rear suspension is independent, with Control Blade suspension arms. The level of technology here is similar to Citroen - the list of equipment includes active cruise control, a lane keeping system, and so on. Everything the modern driver needs.

The range of engines is quite wide. The range opens with 1.0 EcoBoost with 100 hp, then the same engine goes up to 120 hp, then choose 1.5 EcoBoost with 150 or 180 hp. There is also a naturally aspirated engine - 1.6 Ti-VCT with a capacity of 125 hp. These are gasoline engines, and there are also diesel engines - 1.5 TDCi in versions of 95, 105 or 120 hp. and 2.0 TDCI 150 hp or 170 hp

Opel Zafira

The Opel Zafira Tourer is quite… peculiar in this comparison. It is 7 cm longer than the Citroen, but its wheelbase is 8 cm shorter. This difference may be due to Citroen's shorter overhangs.

Despite the shorter wheelbase, the Zafira is quite roomy inside. It holds up to 650 liters of luggage and passengers can travel very comfortably here. Like the Grand C4 Picasso, the roof lining can be folded back to let in more light. Citroen has a Lounge package, but Zafira also has a unique solution - the middle seat can be turned into a long armrest that resembles an ironing board. Opel has also equipped its car with a 4G modem, thanks to which we will provide passengers with Wi-Fi.

This vehicle has the largest number of engines also running on LPG and CNG. The 1.4 Turbo petrol, which can have either 120 or 140 hp, factory installed LPG or a start/stop system, has the most options. 1.6 Turbo can run on gas and develop 150 hp, and in petrol versions it can reach 170 and even 200 hp. Diesels are also not weak - from 120 hp. 1.6 CDTI up to 170 hp at 2.0 CDTI.

The Citroen Grand C4 Picasso is really good compared to the competition. It is equipped with the latest technologies that effectively relieve the driver. It's certainly not about taking away driving pleasure, but it's nice to know that a moment of inattention does not have to end immediately in a ditch. The Grand C4 Picasso offers a lot of features but is also one of the cheapest cars on the list.

Each of the aforementioned vehicles meets similar needs, but each one does it in a different way. And, probably, the whole point is that we can choose the model that suits us best.
