D-CAT (Advanced Diesel Fuel Treatment Technology)

D-CAT stands for Diesel Clean Advanced Technology.

It is a system that significantly reduces the amount of pollutants in the exhaust gas. At the heart of this technology is the DPNR diesel particulate filter, which is maintenance-free and, in addition to soot, can also reduce NO emissions.x. The system has been gradually developed and is currently at the forefront of exhaust gas treatment. For even better particulate filter regeneration, a special diesel injector has been added that injects diesel fuel directly into the exhaust pipe at a point before it enters the turbine. In addition, the regeneration system already works classically, that is, if the control unit determines, based on the signal from the differential pressure sensor, that the DPNR filter is full, diesel fuel is injected, which subsequently increases the temperature inside the filter and burns its contents - regeneration. To reduce nitrogen oxides NOx is a DPNR filter supplemented with a conventional oxidation catalyst.
