Dacia's strategy has proven to be a huge success – also in markets that no one expected to be a factor in the development of the Romanian brand. And the explanation is quite simple - think about how many modern global automotive brands that specialize in the production of only affordable, functional and reliable models can you think of? No matter how much you think, more than one company will not come to mind. For the simple reason that Dacia is currently the only manufacturer of its kind that does not strive to be at the forefront of technological trends, follow or create fashion trends, but simply offers its customers all the benefits of classic personal mobility. at the most reasonable price.

The way Dacia has approached the redesign of the Logan and Sandero family of models clearly shows that the brand knows exactly where it is and where it needs to go in order to continue its famous presence in the market. Externally, the models have received mostly an updated front end, which gives them a more attractive and modern look, and other elaborate changes are noticeable.

Right in the top ten

The first thing that stands out in the interior of restyled models is a completely new steering wheel. The effect of it is striking - it does not just look better than the previous, so to speak, simple steering wheel. With its sleek design, the new steering wheel literally changes the look of the car's interior, its excellent grip enhances driving comfort and, if you believe it, even creates a more authentic steering feel. And let's not forget - the horn is finally in its place - on the steering wheel, not on the turn signal lever. New decorative elements as well as different upholstery and upholstery materials bring more quality, while additional space for items and new options such as a rearview camera make the daily life of Logan and Sandero owners much easier.

New three-cylinder base engine

The most significant technological innovation is the replacement of the current base engine with a displacement of 1,2 liters and 75 hp. with a completely new three-cylinder unit. Modern machine with aluminum block has variable control of oil pump and gas distribution, power 73 hp, displacement 998 cubic centimeters. Dacia promises to reduce CO10 emissions by 2 percent, reduce fuel consumption and improve dynamics. Naturally, if you expect some miracles of courage from this bike, you are simply in the wrong place. However, the indisputable fact is that the temperament is one idea better than the previous 1,2-liter engine, acceleration becomes much more spontaneous, and traction at low and medium speeds is quite decent in terms of performance. Fuel consumption with a more economical driving style is also pleasantly impressive - about 5,5 l / 100 km.
