An impulse sensor (speed sensor) А63Р42.3843010 or А63Р42.3843010-01 or А63Р42.3843010-02 is installed in the drive of the car's speedometer. The pulse sensor is designed to convert the angular speed of rotation of the speed sensor rotor into the frequency of electrical impulses.

Technical characteristics of the pulse sensor.
- Rated voltage, V - 12
- Supply voltage, V - 6-16
- Consumed current at rated supply voltage, A, not more than - 0,016.
When the gear rotor teeth move at a distance of (1,4 + 0,6) mm from the sensitive element, the sensor outputs a rectangular pulse signal at the output:
- low signal level, V - from 0 to 0,9;
- high signal level, V - from 4 to 16.
To check the pulse sensor, connect the sensor according to the diagram. The LED should flash when the gear rotor rotates on each tooth.

The pulse sensor is a product that does not require maintenance and is not repairable, and in case of failure it is replaced with a new one.
