Cheap electric vehicles are only aftermarket vehicles. Some of them are available from PLN 30-40 thousand, which makes them an interesting purchase, if we are only moving around the area, we have the opportunity to charge the car and we will go on a further journey in another car. , bus, train or plane.

How much does a used electric car cost? For the smallest model 35-50 thousand PLN is enough, for a larger model 60-70 thousand PLN should be prepared. With such amounts, we have a chance to hit a good specimen with a battery in good condition. The advantage of such a vehicle would be free parking in cities i possibility of using bus lanes - and free charging here and there... The disadvantages include a range of 100-130 kilometers in optimal conditions.

Mitsubishi i-MiEV: price from ~ 30-40 thousand zlotys

Segment: A

Mitsubishi i-MiEV, as well as Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero are small city cars equipped with a 14,5 or 16 kWh battery, depending on the year. They offer less than 100 kilometers of range, less in winter. Unlike quadricycles, this lineup had to participate in crash tests. In 2011, the i-MiEV received 4 stars out of 5, which is not bad for a car of this size.

Mitsubishi i-MiEV has been offered in Poland for a long time, so we will repair it at several authorized dealerships (no detailed list). The power offered by the car (49 kW, 67 hp) is sufficient for efficient city movement, although it should be noted that the acceleration from 100 to 15,9 km / h takes XNUMX seconds.

Fiat 500e: price from PLN 44,5 thousand

Segment: A

GO + Eauto has just announced the promotion of its Fiat 500e (source). The cheapest models are offered from 44,5 thousand PLN. The Fiat 500e is a small A-segment city car (VW e-Up equivalent) with a real range of about 135-140 kilometers on new cars.

The car has never been officially sold in Europe and does not have a fast charging connector, so it should be considered an outstanding city car to drive just outside the city of purchase (Krakow).

Renault Zoe: price from ~ 70 PLN

Segment: B

When we look at the Otomoto portal, we notice that the Renault Zoe is offered in two price ranges:

1. within the range of 40-50 thousand zlotys,
2. within 120 PLN.

The latter are official car dealerships, the former are cars imported with a battery of unknown origin. Their owners claim "the battery is their own" even though the car is from a year when Renault did NOT offer the battery. We warn models in the range of 40-50 thousand.if the owner does not have a document confirming the purchase of traction batteries.

The manufacturer knows how to track and disconnect such a battery, and getting it from a legal source can be a real miracle:

Cars bought in Poland and having complete documentation about 2-4 years ago rarely appear on the advertising portal. They usually cost more or less. 70 thousand PLN - and this is what you should be interested in, because their owners are ready to make significant concessions. Such used Renault Zoe models are most often Q210 or R240 with a 22 kWh battery and a range of 130-140 (Q210) or 150-160 (R240) kilometers.

The cars do not have fast charging connectors, but from a typical urban bollard they will be able to accelerate to 43 (Q210) or 22 kW (R240). Thus, it will take up to an hour and a half to charge the battery.

Nissan Leaf: price from 60-70 thousand zlotys

Segment: C

Nissan Leaf is a typical compact. Batteries with a usable capacity of approximately 21 kWh (total: 24 kWh) enable a range of 120 to 135 kilometers per charge in good weather.

The Nissan Leaf is popular in Poland due to the high flow of vehicles coming from the United States. However, it is better not to buy copies worth less than 55-60 thousand zlotys, because the "auction" may turn out to be post-accident or flood scrap, dried up and stuck somewhere in garages. Even if electric cars are structurally simpler than combustion cars, no electrician likes to be immersed in water.

The big advantage of Leafs - even those imported from the United States - is the fact that we will do major repairs to about a dozen showrooms in the country. However, when there is a serious battery problem, we will probably be redirected to the Nissan Zaborowski in Warsaw.
