First, take care of your skin

It is worth starting foot care with proper skin care. It can be hard and calloused on the heels or under the toes. Therefore, the feet should be soaked in warm water with the addition of special salt or just soap. It is worth adding lavender oil to the water, which will give our feet a wonderful aroma and allow them to relax. After just 15 minutes, the skin will be properly hydrated, so that after the feet dry, it is easy to remove the thickened epidermis. To do this, you can use a grater or file. At the same time, there are tools for manual and manual use in stores or electrical files that make our work easier.

To maintain the desired effect of smooth skin on the feet, it is worth repeating this action regularly, every 1-2 weeks. You can also do a fine-grained peeling of the feet, which allows you to get rid of thickening and clean the pores of the skin. This will help her breathe better. At night, after soaking the feet and the old epidermis, you can use a moisturizer or moisturizer that will retain moisture in the skin. For very dry feet, it is recommended to apply a thick layer of moisturizing cosmetic, wrap the feet in foil and wear cotton socks for at least an hour.

After winter, our feet may not be in the best condition. Thick socks, nylon tights and insulated boots worn in winter are not suitable for them. They cause excessive sweating of the feet. Corns can be removed, but it is worth softening them with special patches, ointments or drops. Then it will be possible to remove the corn along with the core, which will prevent its re-growth.

Home pedicure

Taking care of the skin of our feet and removing corns and calluses, you can do a pedicure. Remember to always cut your toenails straight, which gives them a spatula shape. The sides of the nail should not be rounded, because then it will more easily grow into the skin. For cutting nails, it is best to use a special manicure machine, and sharp ends and burrs can be smoothed out with a cardboard file. You can then move on to cuticle removal, for example with a wooden spatula. It is better not to cut them at all, because they will begin to grow faster.

Before applying a moisturizing or lubricating cream to your feet, you can paint your nails with regular nail polish or apply hybrid nail polish if you have a hybrid manicure and pedicure set at home. Under a dark-colored varnish, it is recommended to apply a special base, thanks to which the nails will not acquire a yellowish tint. Such well-groomed feet, with a perfectly made pedicure at home, can be safely demonstrated in open shoes either by the pool or on the beach.
