Ducati 1100 DS Multistrada

The Italians, who called themselves Multistrada, well described the character and, above all, the purpose of this motorcycle. The word "multi", of course, hides its wide applicability, which certainly determines its place in the population of an increasing number of different motorcycles. This is one of the most versatile ducats you can imagine.

And if you add one more part to the name, that is, hunger, which means road or street, everything will become even more crystal clear. According to Ducati, all roads are the home of Multistrad.

And it's true that the red beast, which, like any Ducati, roars with deep twin-cylinder bass, does a lot of things well. With its frame geometry, fork angle, wheelbase and many quality components, it forms a cohesive unit that is no stranger to asphalt turns. It loves most where it needs to be tilted the most, and the suspension, for example, doesn't complain at all, let alone the brakes. If we hadn't just shown the all-new Hypermotard, a close relative with which it shares many components, we would have no hesitation in saying that the supermoto was discovered in Ducati four or five years ago.

It has everything that makes a "supermoto" motorcycle. Well, maybe it's just that the look doesn't quite fit this category - in appearance it certainly belongs to the family of touring enduro motorcycles (even the Multistradi's crushed stone base is not someone else's). During the opening of new roads, we sometimes lacked only a little more wind protection, but only above 130 km/h. ), but just today, someone can drive at over 180 km/h all that time. time. However, if the desire for speed is strong, then the Multistrada is not a real Ducati and you will have to take a supersport bike or a superbike.

With such an everyday useful motorcycle, we can only end with an invitation: if you are seduced by Ducati, and if you want to have fun on two wheels, and at the same time you would like to ride here and there in a longer, more versatile vehicle. -day excursion, then just a walk,

roads await.
