Ducati Hypermotard 1100

Italian aesthetic excellence and attention to detail have made the Hypermotard a motorcycle that will impress even the most demanding motorcycle enthusiast. At first glance, it becomes clear that this is a real Ducati, because, despite the fact that this is their first supermoto, it has a huge number of elements that are characteristic of this Italian brand.

Mirrors, which are attached to the side of the handle guard and can be closed when we don't need access for the back, proved to be aesthetically interesting but not very useful solution. However, when we break through the city crowds with open mirrors, the bike becomes too wide to maneuver.

The rider's position on the motorcycle is straight and not fatiguing. The seat is large and comfortable, with ample space and comfort for the passenger. After about an hour and a half, you can expect the ants to start walking on your buttocks, but this is Ducati after all, so the vibrations are necessary, but not so distracting that you want a little less because of it.

When it comes to driving position, the Hypermotard has an interesting feature. When we tilt it into a turn, it reacts normally at first, then begins to resist the tilt, and then again just "falls" into the turn. A feature that makes the driver get used to it after a few miles. It also happens that with a more sporty ride, the pedals quickly rub against the asphalt, not the ones on which the feet rest, but the sparks of the gearbox levers and the rear brake.

The engine is borrowed from the Multistada and has enviable torque, which means you don't have to worry about engine power dropping too quickly. The gearbox is excellent, short and precise, even better than the Japanese sports engines. Effective braking is provided by the very powerful Brembo brakes, which can be very easily dosed by pressing the brake lever, so they are not a concern even for less experienced drivers.

Despite the features that might bother some, the Ducati Hypermotard is definitely a motorcycle that many people would love to own, whether for driving pleasure or just pure performance.
