Ducati Panigale 899 (Ducati Panigale XNUMX)

Because of the form, history, content, quality, what I know. If I limit myself to technology, among them, along with an apple phone, a fruit brother-computer, some other German beauty with four wheels and Swiss watchmaking, this car also belongs. Oh yes, Panigale can decorate your living room like an artistic sculpture! If you have it, otherwise you will enjoy the view, but you will not enjoy it in your element. Driving. Yes, Hamlet's dilemma. Eh, red ducats are like a red burning communion, like in Spain, where squirrels wave to a mad bull. Among the many two-wheeled brands and models, there is only one Ducati. Red and beautiful. Does the smaller Panigale deserve such admiration?

Less but not worse

In Borgo Panigale, where Ducati is at home (now you know what the name means), the Italians, together with their older brother Panigale 1199, also gave his younger brother the same harmonious and harmonious lines, harmonious proportions, sports equipment. , a Latin character and now that he owns an Audi, also with some German flair. At first glance, the decision in Bologna is unusual. Why offer two identical machines with different unit sizes? The answer, however, is simple: this great Panigale is like a thoroughbred super-athlete destined for spirits and tracks, while his brother is more cultured and quite decent, even when I go downtown with him. Well, conditionally, because, of course, the winding country road towards Primorsk is his world. But there is in the urban world so caressing the sound and echo of a two-cylinder engine.

No dilemma

Although he has about 50 "horses" less than 1199, this does not mean that he is as meek as his neighbor's cat. Opposite. It has a Superquadro V-Twin twin-cylinder engine stretched into the body at a right angle, which really presses when moving. Equipment such as DTC (Ducati Traction Control) or DQS (Ducati Quick Shift) and three-stage ABS electronics (Race, Sport, Wet Programs) are also similar to the larger namesake. And it works! The front fully adjustable fork is a Showin product, the rear suspension is Sachs, and the brakes are Brembo monobloc. If anyone else doubts it when they look at it, those doubts are dispelled when the two-cylinder engine barks at the power-sensing throttle lever and declares that there is no Hamlet's dilemma at all. The solution is clear. Whether it's waiting in a room or offering driving pleasure.
