The minimalist styling of the Scrambler Café Racer prompted Ducati to opt for a braking system equipped with ABS Bosch 9.1 MP standard with one 330 mm disc, 5 mm thick at the front with four-piston Brembo monobloc caliper with radial mount and 245 disc with single-piston caliper at the rear.

The engine is 803cc Desmodue double cylinder Icon air and oil cooled, Euro 4 compliant, can supply 75 CV at 8.250 rpm and a torque of 68 Nm at 5.750 rpm (maintenance intervals are required every 12.000 km). Finally, Ducati has created a dedicated line accessories and clothing so that customers can experience the 360 ​​degree Scrambler atmosphere. 

How are you?

At Ducati, they combined well the look of the cafe racer with a not too extreme driving position that could somehow compromise too much. comfort.

Despite the presence poluruliin fact, the new Scrambler Café Racer doesn't tire at all. During the road test, which lasted about 200 km, I never felt tired in my wrists. There Driving Position yes, it attacks, but nice. The saddle may not be very soft, but it’s almost impossible to ask for more from a bike like this.

Otherwise, it retains the ease of driving the Scrambler: a maneuverable, controllable, lightweight bike that allows even inexperienced riders to sit on two wheels. At the same time, however, it amuses many, even the most sophisticated motorcyclists. Because, although the power is relatively small, the thrust double cylinder Ducati - full-bodied, energetic, truly exciting.

It shows its best in low and midrange, with progressive dynamics and very pleasant sound; instead, there is no point in tightening the gears up to the stop (which operates at about 8.000 rpm). Good dynamic behaviorThe suspensions are not very rigid, they are excellent at absorbing bumps in the asphalt and city driving, providing good support even at the most fun speeds in mixed conditions.

Only if you overdo it, looking for limit (to no avail, to be honest) you may feel some wiggle or load transfer. On the other hand, the Scrambler Café Racer was not designed to soothe the geeks itch. Finally, I was very convinced by the braking.

The single-disc, four-piston Brembo caliper works very well and guarantees excellent performance: I did not expect such an effective action.

The target audience? This is mainly a young audience, which, as you know, is more attracted Mode and a look at performances as well as some of the nostalgic motorcyclists of the past looking for a fun, sporty, trendy and not overly demanding vehicle.

I liked it, I think it's clear. Such a bike is not easy to guess. Everyone agrees with this: both beginners and experienced bikers. The engine does get a little warm, but it's objectively beautiful to look at, well proportioned and a pleasure to drive: 75 hp. a two-cylinder engine is what you need to consume little, walk and enjoy the mountain passes. . Of course, this is not a gift, but still Ducati.
