Chrysler EBD engine
Content
The Chrysler EBD 1.8-liter gasoline engine was produced in Trenton from 1994 to 1999 and was installed only in the European modification of the very first generation of the Neon model. This power unit has not received distribution in our market and is very rare.
The Neon series also includes internal combustion engines: ECB, ECC, ECH, EDT, EDZ and EDV.

Disadvantages, breakdowns and problems of the internal combustion engine EBD
First of all, this is a very rare motor that was installed only on the European Neon
The cooling system is distinguished by a low resource: its hoses, thermostat are cracking
And therefore, overheating often occurs here with a breakdown of the gasket and warping of the cylinder head
On long runs, an oil burner or grease leaks from oil seals are often encountered.
Monitor the condition of the timing belt, as when it breaks, the valve most often bends
