The 6.4-liter V8 engine Dodge ESG or HEMI 6.4 has been assembled at a plant in Mexico since 2010 and is put on charged versions of the Challenger, Charger, Grand Cherokee models with the SRT8 index. This unit is equipped with an MDS half-cylinder deactivation system and a VCT phase regulator.
The HEMI series also includes internal combustion engines: EZA, EZB, EZH and ESF.

Disadvantages, breakdowns and problems of the ESG internal combustion engine
This engine is very reliable, but the huge fuel consumption will not suit everyone.
MDS system and hydraulic lifters require 5W-20 type oil
From low-quality fuel, the EGR valve quickly becomes dirty and starts to stick
Also, the exhaust manifold can lead here and the studs of its fastening can burst.
