The 1.6-liter single-injection Volkswagen 1.6 ABU engine was produced from 1992 to 1994 and was installed on the third generation of the Golf and Vento models, as well as the Seat Ibiza and Cordoba. There was an upgraded version of this power unit under its AEA index.
The EA111-1.6 line includes internal combustion engines: AEE, AUS, AZD, BCB, BTS, CFNA and CFNB.
