About modification of motors
- J30A1 was produced from 1997 to 2003. It is the basic model of the power units of this series. The diameter of the valves for intake is 24 mm, and for exhaust 29 mm. It is equipped with a VTEC system, which turns on at 3500 rpm. The power of such a unit is 200 hp.
- J30A4 received a piston that provides a compression ratio of 10. The diameter of the valves has been increased to 35 and 30 mm, respectively. They began to install a modernized VTEC system.
