Nissan ka24e are 12-valve engines manufactured by the company from July 1988 to January 1997. They favorably differ from their predecessors with a cast aluminum cylinder head, a forged steel crankshaft, cast steel connecting rods, and the presence of electronic fuel injection.
Nissan ka24de has been used in the creation of many trucks and cars. Most of the units were produced in Mexico in the city of Aguascalientes. The exceptions are ICEs marked U13 Bluebird, 240SX, 1994-97 Altima and FWD, which were assembled directly in Japan for cars produced in Australia.

The features of the ka24 series engines include the absence of balancing shafts. And this is despite the high power of the 2,4-liter engine.
