Electric Dutchman: Green Light for Electric Chappy

Electric Dutchman has just successfully completed a fundraising campaign with a small electric scooter reminiscent of the Yamaha Chappy. Next steps: start production and sale of the model.

In total, Electric Dutchman wanted to raise 550.000 € 9 through the Seedrs crowdfunding platform. Target reached on Monday, June XNUMX.

Founded in 2016 in the Netherlands, Electric Dutchman offers an electric scooter with small wheels and styling reminiscent of the legendary Chappy Yamaha. On the technical side, the manufacturer is not very generous with information. An electric motor integrated in the rear wheel stores 2000 W of power and allows a top speed of 45 km / h.

The underfloor battery is removable and provides an autonomy of up to 75 km. With a second backpack, the Electric Dutchman scooter can travel 150 km without recharging.

With a focus on both the private and automotive markets, Electric Dutchman is set to begin production of its scooter in the next few months.

The price side, the car is clearly not cheap. From € 3895, it goes up to € 5245 6595 with one package and € 2,2 with two. An interesting point: the manufacturer offers a battery rental system with a declared rate of € 66 per day per package or € XNUMX per month.
