Electric motorcycle: Harley-Davidson invests in Alta Motors

To promote its first electric motorcycle faster, Harley-Davidson is announcing an investment in Alta Motors, which specializes in lightweight electric vehicles.

If the financial elements of the transaction are not defined, the two partners must work together on technology and new product development.

This will allow Harley to leverage Alta Motors' electric motorcycle know-how and meet its targets for its first model, which is expected in 2019.
