Electric Solex is back with a new lineup

Solex, part of the Easybike group, has unveiled a new line of electric bikes called Solex Intemporel at EVER Monaco.

Designed and assembled in France, Solex Intemporel is big news 2020 from the manufacturer. Inspired by the iconic Solex 1946, this new electric bike features a mixed frame and 26-inch wheels. Available with two motors. While the former is based on a 40 Nm Bafang system integrated into the rear wheel, the latter uses a Bosch Active Line Plus crank motor that delivers up to 50 Nm of torque. In both cases, the battery is built into the trunk. Removable, it stores 400 Wh of energy.

As far as the bicycle part is concerned, the two models are identical. So we find a 63mm Odesa Spinner forks, a Shimano 8-speed derailleur and a Tektro V-Brake.

Based on the same black metallic, the two models obviously have different prices. The entry-level version of the Solex Intemporel Confort, powered by a Bafang engine, remains the most affordable with an advertised selling price of € 1521.

More upscale with a Bosch engine, the Solex Intemporel Infinity starts at € 2599.
