Electric bike: Kymco presents new Klever offering
Already well established in the scooter field, Taiwanese brand Kymco is now attacking the electric bike market with a new line called Klever.
Presented as a preview at the 2-Wheel Show in Lyon, Kymco Klever's electric offering is based on three models.
The Klever B with 24-inch wheels is the brand's urban model. It is complemented by the Klever S, a more versatile model mounted on 27.5-inch wheels. More sporty, the Klever X has the most original design and is also available in a “speed bike” version (45 km / h) with a power of 500 watts.
On the electrical side, the motor was designed by Kymco and the removable battery ranges between 470 and 570 Wh.
In terms of pricing, Kymco's new offer starts at € 2.399 for the Klever S and up to € 4.899 for the “speed bike” version of the Klever X. A bit more expensive if you know you can find electric bikes from Bosch and Shimano. systems costing less than 2000 euros from other brands relatively more famous in the bicycle industry ...
